1) I picked this image because I had no idea what I was looking at. This caught my eye because you don't see this every day, plus it is a creeper looking over what looks like the edge of a building.

 2) This picture was a and I quote a "21-hour hostage standoff presented the world with its first live window on terrorism". This was also the opening to the Olympics.

 3) Snipers tried to kill the terrorists, and the terrorists killed all the hostages and a policeman.
